A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is a board-certified advanced practice clinician trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. PMHNPs can prescribe medication, manage psychiatric care, and integrate therapy-informed support. Amanda Angus is a board-certified PMHNP-BC with additional credentials as MSN, APRN, and CRNA, providing whole-person psychiatric care across Ohio.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We take time to understand your history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and personal goals. There is no rush—the visit is a collaborative conversation designed to build a clear picture of your mental health and develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and values.

We primarily serve adults 18 years and older across Ohio. Amanda has a special focus on women's mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety concerns. In select situations, pediatric patients may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Medication management focuses on the careful selection, monitoring, and adjustment of psychiatric medication to support symptom relief and stability. While our visits are therapy-informed and may include education, coping strategies, and emotional support, traditional weekly talk therapy is a different service. Many patients benefit from combining medication management with a separate therapy provider.

Angus Behavioral Health, LLC provides outpatient psychiatric services for individuals throughout Ohio. Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
